I am fed up of seeing such negativity on blogs lately. I don't know why we can't all get along! I've read some horrible commentary and posts on various pages over the past month that makes me wonder - when did we get so crabby?!?!?
I don't mind a good rant the same as the next person. However it is not funny when a person or place is singled out and attacked on a blog. Especially when the person involved knows little or nothing about what actually happens on a daily basis to this person or place.
I made a promise from day one on this blog that I would never use it to hurt or upset anyone. I am proud to say that I have kept that promise. If I even feel like a post has gone too far on a celebrity then I remove it. I can't stand people being mean, vicious or negative for no reason.
I understand feedback being a positive thing on brands, places, etc but sometimes people go overboard and become hurtful with the things they say. This is when blogging is so disapointing and unfair. We all get tarnished with the same brush and labelled as bitchy. Which is just fantastic.
So you know what, take five minutes, go have some tea and come back a nicer person.
It isn't just blogs though. I've even seen a complete lack of manners and human decency in shops as well. Don't forget that the people who serve you are human beings too and just because they work in Tesco or Topshop doesn't mean that you get to treat them like dirt. A bit of common decency amongst people would make the world a nicer place.
