David Koma is now designing for Topshop. Joining a long and very impressive list of collaborations with the high street chain. These are the first images from the collection which appeared online today.

But anyone expecting to pick up a piece of Koma for nothing, be wary. The dresses are retailing for £300. Yeah, sterling. Not only that but there are only thirty copies of each made. So if you fancy it, you better move fast!

Koma, a central saint Martin's graduate - are you that surprised? received a lot of attention when Cheryl Cole wore one of his dresses on the X factor. Yes that one with the horrible strange design on the boobs. He has won quite a few awards and as I mentioned before joins a long list of some of the hottest names in fashion by collaborating with Topshop. Such as, Johnathon Saunders, Christopher Kane and Ashish to name a few from last year alone! In fact I think Ashish is still doing the rounds!

"Topshop signifies youth and modernity and its spirit evokes 'cool London, it was really exciting to work with the Topshop team as I felt they understood me as a designer and appreciated my need to make a high quality product without compromising the design aesthetic, quality of fabric or finishing. They helped make my vision a reality and I'm thrilled with the result."

No word on the arrival of the pieces into Dublin, so eyes akimbo ladies! You never know! They will be on sale from Feb 18th in London Topshops. Expect some violence and lethal blows from handbags....let the fashion scrap commence! I'm sharping my best fightin' nail as we speak.....
