Kanye has always been a master in the art of samplear and has not left anything to be desired on his new album.
The relationship Kanye West with the gospel is profound. His recent release Jesus Is King is no different. West probably uses classic gospel tracks and special guests like Fred Hammond and Christian artist No Malice (formerly Clipse) to expand his journey with Christ.
The 11-track project shows its flaws and struggles with addiction while responding to critics about its controversial Sunday Service events. In addition to the seemingly vulnerable lyrics, West takes us back to early Sunday Service recordings with previously released tracks such as "Water" and "Everything We Need." As with every project produced by Ye, there are also strong samples and tweens of classic gospel songs.
