Finished the 6 week challenge!!!

Six weeks, 27 classes and a seriously strict diet....but it was totally worth it!!! See for yourselves.....


I am absolutely delighted with myself!!! The picture on the left was the day before the challenge started and roughly the size and shape I've been since Christmas. So to see a (nearly) flat stomach only six weeks later has made me so proud of myself! I'm actually looking forward to rooting out a bikini for my holidays!

It definitely was not easy but the more changes I saw with myself, the more motivation I had to work my ass off! I also went with my good friend Catherine who was a great motivator! We were swapping recipes and sweaty Snapchats and it was great to have a friendly face in the gym, mainly to show me what a burpee was :) Here's her before and after...


To recap, I did a 6 week challenge in the Adam Cramer PT360 gym in Blanchardstown and I'd recommend it to everyone!!! Finding the time to go to the gym four or five times a week is not easy, and the classes are tough as hell, but signing up for the challenge was definitely a great decision! I can clearly remember my first class and not being able to pull my body off the floor to do one sit up, today I did at least 60...not a bother to me!



As for weight loss, I don't actually find out the figures for another torturous week! But as you can clearly see I've lost a good bit of weight off my stomach and can really see a difference with my jeans being looser. From weighing myself I'm thinking I'm down 6 or 7 lbs, nothing major but for me it's the biggest difference I've seen in a long time!




So just a quick round up of what I did:

6 weeks, a minimum of 24 classes and a strict diet! I cut out alcohol and sweets, besides my weekly Animal Bar ;) I had no pasta, only the odd potato and the odd slice of wholemeal bread. My diet mainly consisted of fruit, vegetables, fish, chicken, brown rice and water.

For the weekend, I'm taking a break and having a beer but I have the fitness bug and I'll be back to crying tears of sweat into my boxing gloves in no time!

Update:

So I got my official results last night and I'm thrilled!!! 

Weight Lost: 10.12lbs
Body Fat % Dropped: 9.84%

I am so happy with my results! I am so determined to keep it off and stay fit! Hard work pays off!
